Mom Training: Coaching for Moms Who Dream of Success

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Mom training, or mom coaching is focused on giving moms the tools and strategies for achieving their dreams and goals in life. Are you a mom who often receives bolts of inspiration but then you don’t follow up on those ideas? As you go through your daily life do you have visions of doing something more with your life? Do you hear about the successes that others around you have achieved and it makes you want to get out there and change the world yourself? If you have had thoughts such as these, then maybe it’s time for you to think about mom training.

Mom training or mom coaching helps you to first do some deep introspection to see what the true dreams, visions, and desires of your heart really are. For instance, you may have been focusing on a dream to open a daycare facility, but maybe what you really want to do is start a school. A coach will help draw out of you what you are really hoping for and then work with you to give you the encouragement to pursue your vision until it comes to pass.

But there are some challenging questions that you should ask yourself before engaging the services of a coach to make sure that you are ready to launch into the process of transforming both yourself and your circumstances.

Are you willing to do the work necessary to get from where you are to where you want to be?

Are you willing to be accountable to someone for the goals/timelines that you choose?

Are you ready to stretch yourself and move beyond your zone of comfort?

Are you prepared to not allow distractions to hinder your progress?

Do you feel like there is something that is holding you back from reaching your goals?

When considering working with a mom coach, you must work with someone who has achieved the success that you seek and who has had accomplishments comparable to the goals you aspire to. Someone who has been there and weathered those late nights, dealt with unsupportive spouses and family members, and fought the uphill battle until she had attained her goals, will be able to guide you and remind you to keep your eyes on the prize and not on those things that might try to pull you down.

You already have everything that you need within you to reach your goals, but working with a coach will help you to not only look within, but share her knowledge, skills, experience and even contacts to help you to transform your life’s vision into reality.

When you are ready to try mom training and take that first step to find a way to take your skills, knowledge and passion and create a business of your own, you are welcome to visit, http://www.nasahm.com, where you will find a wealth of resources for supporting moms as they seek to balance work and life and personal goals.
